    The increasing prevalence of chronic disease in the developed world is alarming. Hypertension now affects up to 20% of adult Australians, diabetes 10% (Ausdiab) and obesity and overweight almost half the Australian adult population.     The course consists of approximately 24+ hours of online learning, personal study time, a one-day practical skills workshop, and assessment.

    Satisfactory completion results in a Statement of Satisfactory Completion from The University of Queensland School of Medicine and is recognised for credit towards the Master of Medicine (General Practice).
